A man was attacked in an alleyway by a gang wielding a broken bottle who cut his neck.
The 21-year-old man was attacked in an alleyway between Middle Street and Ship Street in Brighton on Saturday at 3.15am.
One of the gang stole the victim's wallet and cash while another cut his neck with a broken bottle which required treatment at the Royal Sussex County Hospital in Brighton.
The suspects are described as three black men and one white man, in their late teens or early twenties with one wearing a green bucket hat and another wearing a baseball cap.
