Two people have appeared in court from Crawley
Stephen Michael Raikes, 20, of Seaford Road, Broadfield, Crawley, pleaded guilty to possessing cannabis and failing to answer bail. Offence committed while on a suspended sentence for theft and fraud. Fined £100 and ordered to pay a £20 victim surcharge. Earlier sentence of 12 weeks’ jail suspended for 12 months extended to 14 months.
James Roy Highgate Brown, 28, of Colbourne Court, Southgate, Crawley, pleaded guilty to stealing headphones, worth £23.97, from TK Maxx, and having a small kitchen knife in a public place. Also admitted committing a further offence while on a conditional discharge. Jailed for six weeks suspended for 12 months. Ordered to pay £85 costs and £80 victim surcharge.
