Lee Michael Drummond, 34, of Bishops Close, Lancing, pleaded guilty to stealing an electric toothbrush worth £44.99 from Boots, two epilators and 12 manual toothbrushes worth £259.04 from Boots, jointly with another stealing clothing worth £84.99 from Stepping out in Style and men’s fragrance worth £48.50 from Boots, possessing 101 tablets of Diazepam and failing to answer bail. Jailed for six weeks suspended for 12 months. Ordered to pay compensation of £48.50, £60 victim surcharge and £85 costs.
Thomas Oliver Pelham Denman, 20, of Hurston Lane, Storrington, Pulborough, pleaded guilty to drink-driving and speeding. Fined £200, plus £20 victim surcharge and £85 costs. Banned from driving for 14 months, reduced by 14 weeks if completes an approved drinkdriving course.
