A 70-year-old woman received a head injury after a two-car crash.
She was driving her grey BMW X3 eastwards towards Herstmonceux when she made a turn in the road and it collided with a black Peugeot 107 coming the other way.
The Peugeot driver, a 23-year-old woman from Bexhill, suffered whiplash and shock.
The 70-year-old, from Surrey, had a cut to her head.
The accident happened in New Road, Herstmonceux, just after 8am today.
Emergency services remained at the scene for more than an hour.
