Two men are thought to have threatened to kill a doorman after he refused to let them into the pub he was guarding.

The row happened outside Yates Wine Lodge in Robertson Street, Hastings, in the early hours of Sunday.

It involved two black men, one of whom was wearing a distinctive red cap.

Two men were arrested on suspicion of making threats to kill and were later released on bail.

One, aged 24, from London, was bailed until October 9 while the other, aged 18, from St Leonards, was bailed until October 6, while enquiries continue.
