PETROLHEADS around the country rejoiced at the return of the most anticipated event of the year yesterday.
Goodwood Revival opened its doors to thousands of car enthusiasts for the first day of its 2014 extravaganza.
More than 140,000 motorsport fans are expected to make their way to the beautiful Goodwood estate near Chichester for this year’s event, which runs until Sunday.
Revival typically attracts an eclectic mix of society’s colourful characters.
And yesterday’s action did not fail to disappoint, with frantic qualifying sessions for the Sussex Trophy, Goodwood Trophy and the Chichester Cup all taking place on the famous Goodwood track.
