A POP singer has taken to Twitter to rage at burglars who stole his wife’s jewellery.
Tom Chaplin, who is from Hastings and fronts the band Keane, took to social media after the break-in on New Year’s Eve.
Burglars took his wife’s diamond ring in the burglary in Wittersham, north of Rye.
He told his 16,500 followers that jewellery was taken despite the burglar alarm going off.
He added: “Pawnbrokers, antique shops, jewellers and punters - if you see this ring being punted, tweet me. Reward for info.”
Anyone with information call Sussex Police on 101.
