NICOSIA: Archaeologists in Iran have discovered the body of a man
preserved in a salt quarry for 2600 years. Iranian radio said the
pickled corpse, with a gold earring in its left ear and eyebrows,
moustache, and beard intact, was found in a village near the western
Iranian city of Zanjan under many layers of thick salt.
