MAJOR changes are planned for a popular shopping centre.

Work is expected to start at Swan Walk in Horsham early next year.

As part of the redevelopment, a new anchor tenant – yet to be unveiled – will be moving in.

Sections of the centre will be transformed including upgraded customer toilet and welfare facilities and wider malls.

Talks are progressing with a number of popular retail brands and a gym.

Centre manager Gill Buchanan said she was excited about the next chapter in the growth of Swan Walk.

She said:“I am very much looking forward to the start of the works that we are hoping will begin on site in early 2018 and to welcoming more brands to the centre.

“This is the next step in the continued evolution and growth of Swan Walk and there is plenty still to come.

“This is not just about the centre, this is about the wider investment in Horsham.

“That is evident in the addition of new openings and the fact that we’ll have great new toilet facilities that will be a benefit to the whole town.

“We’ve been working hard to make sure that the development and growth of the centre is exactly what is needed, for both Swan Walk and for Horsham.

“We look forward to sharing more news in due course.”
