A FALCONER is sky high after being reunited with his beloved owl.
Kevin Lochner's European eagle owl Luna went missing from Hawking About at Aldingbourne Country Centre, near Chichester, on Friday January 13.
Luna, who is 2ft tall and with a 5-6 ft wingspan, has returned three ounces lighter than when she went missing five weeks ago.
A poster campaign reached 64,000 people while schools and scout groups joined in the hunt.
She was previously sighted in Slindon and on Thursday her owners received pictures of a bird matching Luna's description from a fellow birds of prey enthusiast who managed to catch her after four hours.
Mr Lochner said Luna looked a "bit moody" and "a bit scatty" but has received a positive check-up from vets and is now in isolation for a week as a precaution
