THE Argus is proud today to launch the Sussex Diversity Awards 2018.

Diversity has never been more important to our society, economy and businesses and we all know that Sussex is an incredibly diverse county.

The awards are being run in association with Carrot Events and will be held on April 27 at the Brighton Hilton Metropole Hotel.

It will be a colourful and prestigious event, with a carnival theme inviting colour and celebration.

Argus editor Arron Hendy said: “These awards will recognise outstanding successes achieved by companies, organisations, individuals, third sector organisations and community groups.

“We will be looking for those who have demonstrated a strong commitment and track record of achievements which tackle issues of diversity in today’s society, giving them recognition for their dedication and hard work.

“If ever there was a time to celebrate and elevate the truly staggering diversity of talent, entrepreneurship and dedication that Sussex has to offer, it is now.

“Our communities need motivation and inspiration.”

The website will be going live early January – www.sussexdiversityawards.co.uk – where you will find information on award categories, entry and nomination forms.

Sponsorship opportunities are available and are a great way of reaching people working in all sectors of Sussex’s communities.
