Mike Jones makes his first start under new boss John Gregory as Crawley take on leaders Leyton Orient at the Matchroom Stadium this afternoon.

Jones has only made one appearance as a substitute since his last start in the goalless draw against Walsall at four weeks ago.

The midfielder, who had been struggling with a groin injury, comes in for Emile Sinclair who misses out altogether with a thigh injury.

Jones is expected to start on the left of midfield with joint top scorer Billy Clarke restored to the attack alongside Gary Alexander.

Skipper Josh Simpson remains sidelined by a hamstring injury but Connor Essam is included among the substitutes after being recalled early from his loan spell at Dartford. There are also places on the bench for young pros Jonte Smith and Alex Malins.

Orient are able to recall 12-goal striker Kevin Lisbie to the starting line up following an ankle injury but are still without suspended top scorer David Mooney.

The leaders are also missing former Albion midfielder Dean Cox, who is unwell, but another ex-Seagull Romain Vincelot does play.
