Albion have been handed a fresh injury blow.

But Oscar Garcia refused to let it take all the gloss off an impressive performance in the North West today.

Will Buckley left the 1-0 win at Blackpool – secured by an Inigo Calderon goal - with a hamstring injury.

Oscar admits he has no idea how he long he will be out of action.

The Albion boss admitted: “It’s a blow. Now we have to manage another injury.

“A hamstring injury is always a bad injury. I can’t tell you for how long he will be out.”

Albion will also assess Stephen Ward after he left the action following a blow to the head.

Oscar was delighted to see his side return to winning ways and highlighted the efforts of three players coming off the bench.

Adam Chicksen made his debut for the club as substitute for Ward at left-back and Kazenga LuaLua and David Lopez helped preserve the win.

Oscar said: “I’m very happy with the performance of all the players, especially the three subs.

“Chicksen made his debut with us at a difficult place and he played really well.

“And I’m happy with Kazenga and David to come off the bench and play like they are playing.”
