    The proposed development plans for the Saltdean Lido site (The Argus, March 12), presented by Dennis Audley, are of great concern to Saltdean residents. read more

    I think it was a surprise for Mr Audley just how many residents came to see his proposed plans for the redevelopment of the lido. He must now realise the great affection the people of Saltdean have for the lido. read more

  • Charity shop pricing

    I am a long-time aficionado of the good old charity shop. In fact there was a time when I was unable to walk past one without popping in for a rummage, hopefully to emerge with a modest bargain or two. read more

    It is reported that ITV is seeking to move kick-off of the 2011 FA Cup final to 5.30pm because it believes the later time will bring them more advertising revenue. read more
