ETHERINGTON Anita Lillian (nee Potter) Died peacefully aged 86 on 24th February, 2012 after almost eight years of wonderful care at Oakhill House Nursing Home, Horsham. Beloved widow of Albert Charles ‘Ace’, mother of Alan, Jenny and Sue, grandmother of Amy, Caitlin, Julia, Phillip and Mark, great-grandmother of Lewis, Maude and Kane, sister of George, Ivy, Charlie and Marie; artist, bridge-player, lover of musicals and loyal friend, she will be greatly missed by all who knew her. Her brain has been donated to the Medical Research Council London Neurodegenerative Diseases Brain Bank, in order to support vital research into dementia. She was a long time member of St John’s Church and Community Centre, Palmeira Square, Brighton and Hove, BN3 2FL, where her funeral service will be held on Thursday, 8th March at 3.00 p.m. Family flowers only.
