High Rankin’, for the uninitiated, combines the old-fashioned moustachioed stage presence of Professor Elemental and Mr B The Gentleman Rhymer with the heavy dubstep of the likes of Flux Pavilion. Now, predictably enough, a resident of Berlin, he lived in Brighton for many years and has a vast following here. He’s headlined many sell-out shows at Coalition and on Friday ventured into the larger venue of Concorde 2. read more
