FOUR FANTASTIC CYCLE EVENTS FOR 2015!

Forget those winter blues........what a fantastic opportunity to set yourself a fitness target for 2015 and why not make 2015 a year to remember by taking part in one of our fantastic Charity Bike Rides.

We have a ride for all abilities and all pockets and every ride is fully supported by our experienced team of volunteers. You will be fed, watered and each ride is signposted to make sure you reach your destination safe and sound. All our routes are carefully selected to ensure they are as traffic free as possible and you have a choice of an off road or road rides. What's more, EVERY PENNY you raise goes to charities in Sussex, thanks to the generous support of our sponsors Legal & General.

In 2015 we are introducing a fantastic new 65 mile City to Coast cycle Challenge from Richmond Park to Shoreham-by-Sea - OFF ROAD. Cycle the scenic Thames Path National Trail and pass the doorstep of Hampton Court Palace. Meander along the Thames to Teddington Lock to pick up the Wey Canal path and finally onto Shoreham-by-Sea via the Downs Link. THIS IS A LIMITED NUMBERS EVENT. So book early!

Or if you fancy something not quite as challenging, why not come along on our two other events that we are running the same day. The Guldford to Shoreham Charity ride is 40 miles and travels the entire length of the Downs Link, passing through Cranleigh and Southwater en route to Shoreham. If you only have a morning, then why not come on our Southwater to Shoreham ride, which is only 20 miles and suitable for all the family!

If European culture is your bag, join us on our second Dunkirk to Brussels Challenge and experience cycing in one of the most cycle friendly countries in Europe, visiting visiting Ypres, Bruges, Ghent and Brussels.

All of our rides carry a complete package to keep you on track and most include transportation options to get you on your way and bring you home safely. All our rides have full mechanical support courtesy of Giant Bikes (Shoreham) and Mr Cycles Seaford.

Remember......EVERY PENNY you raise through sponsorship goes directly to those in need in Sussex, because an Argus Appeal Cycle Challenge is a 100% charity bike ride - unlike some of the others.

But don't just take our word for it, this is what you said last year:

'WHAT A FANTASTIC EXPERIENCE'', you guys thought of everything and the route was stunning! (Liz).

'SIMPLY BRILLIANT, and the most fun I have had on a bike in years! (Amy).

'WOW!, that was an absolutely fantastic weekend, thanks to all The Argus Appeal volunteers who made it run so smoothly....I will be back next year for more! (Bill).

Spend some time cycling through the atmospheric memorials dedicated to those that bravely gave their lives and explore the magnificent cities of Bruges, Ghent and Brussels, where the evenings promise to be just as exciting as the days cycling!

All the riding will be via Belgiums impressive traffic free cycling ‘nodes’ (Knooppunten) system, whereby every route intersects another. Follow in the footsteps of some of the worlds greatest cyclists who have ridden the ‘cobblestones’ during the world famous Belgium ‘classics’.

Each node in the network is numbered and the route carefully chosen by the Argus Appeal team who will be on hand to fully support each rider to our usual high standards.

A 50 mile cycle to the impressive city of Ghent (the city by the water), which architecturally is just as imposing as Bruges.

DAY 4: AUGUST 1st, 2015:

Today we cycle to our last destination of our short Belgium break and make our way into the north-west area of Brussels and spend our last evening discovering the delights of what this city has to offer.
