TWO charities were recently given an early Christmas present by The Argus Appeal.
The Alzheimer’s Society Towner Club and the Middle of the Road Club have both received the keys to a new minibus.
The Middle of the Road Club, based in Eastbourne, provides social activities for people of working age with all degrees of physical disability.
The Alzheimer’s Society Towner Club, based in Brighton, offers a support service to people with early-onset Alzheimer’s.
Presentations of the minibuses were made yesterday at Brighton Racecourse.
The money from The Argus Appeal was the latest in a series of donations made to good causes across Sussex last year.
