Fireworks set to music

FAMILIES enjoyed an evening of firework fun in aid of a good cause.

Thousands of people attended the fireworks spectacular at the Nevill Sports Ground in Hove, which was organised in conjunction with The Argus Appeal.

The 25-minute display was choreographed by Brighton Fireworks and the displays were set to music including New York, New York, What A Wonderful World and Land Of Hope And Glory.

Robert Sutherland, visiting from Australia, said: “The fireworks show was better than anything I have seen in Australia, even during the New Year celebrations.”

Argus Appeal co-ordinator Elsa Gillio said: “The weather held up wonderfully. It was spot-on.

“It was a fantastic spectacle of fireworks to music. I have no idea how they managed to coordinate all of the coloured fireworks to go with the words to What A Wonderful World.”
