Well, I’m officially a Glastonbury convert. The plan was to go the once just to say I have been there, done that and got the t-shirt. But six months down the line, I can already picture myself sat at a computer continually hitting refresh along with half of the UK making sure I get tickets to Glastonbury 2010.

The Beeb do their best to keep up with the nation and their attention deficit demands; gunning down Top of the Pops when they realised that it had become a byword for lame, organising live web cams at Glastonbury, juicing up Radio 2 with the likes of Russell Brand and Alan Carr. They have proved to us that they have got the hang of edgy and cool, but programmes like this serve to show that they much prefer room temperature.

Am following up my last literary post with another - but this time Baby gets in on the action! A gorgeous new bookshop for kids opened up near me in Hove recently and it seemed the perfect place to meet up with another local mother for a catch up, little did I know I could fall in love with a shop, but I have.

Just when the girls look like they might make a start on that filing, one of them makes a shock confession, or receives a distressing phone call, which means they have to decamp to the ladies toilets and sort it all out. There is an awful lot of sorting out to do. Unplanned pregnancy, infidelity, sexy shenanigans, mysterious disappearance, thwarted dreams and shattered hearts. Issues, issues, ISSUES. And we’re only 2 episodes in. Phew!

Newbie gardeners have bags of enthusiasm, pots of commitment and acres of curiosity. However, they don’t have actual bags, pots and acres.

I went against everything I hoped for this weekend. I had huge amounts of alcohol Friday night however I did boogie a little, so hoped that would help with the extra calories I was consuming. Finished the night or shall I say early morning of with a chicken burger! Missed Dinner Friday so come Saturday morning I was ready to eat a horse. I have been good recently and not been eating with my mates so late at night. I just could not resist this week. Saturday came and my sister was having a BBQ. I was good with half a hotdog and salad. I guess the few bottles of Carling probably were not the desert most people on a diet would have had?

Ah Art and Literature – two words that inspire such delight, two words that conjure up cultural and creative pursuits, two words that could be as easily substituted by Pleasure and Passion – they mean virtually the same to me. So its been fun to realise that last week I managed to indulge in a bit of both virtually outside my own front door.

For those of you who get fairly annoyed with battling through Churchill Square in order to get your weekly fix of H&M goodies, you'll be relieved to know that a new, bigger store will be opening on (181-185) Western Road this week on Thursday.

The Montpelier area in Brighton is just lovely, so when I saw an equally lovely lady stepping into her house on Thursday evening, I just had to nab her for a quick piccy.

I have been to a few weddings over the years. Some fill you with dread for their future and some, an overwhelming warmth, knowing that the two people that you have just watched declare the rest of their lives to each other, are more in love than you could have ever imagined.

I was highly disappointed when my friend pointed out that I missed a big even last week – I can’t believe I failed to mention the infamous Naked Brighton Bike Ride! I had been seeing the posters around for months and keeping a mental note to remember the ride – Gutted that I missed it (Must get a diary to stop such occurrences happening again) The Brighton naked bike ride is to celebrate cycling and the human body, it's is an annual event so I hope to catch it next year!

I’ve been working with a couple of clients recently on how to give equity to other people coming into the business, and it’s definitely a recurring theme which causes a lot of debate and difficulty.

You’ve decided that you’d quite like to garden in your concrete surroundings. You might even have joined Grow Your Neighbour’s Own and have access to some land. Perhaps you’ve inherited an area of green in a community project.

Tired of the gimmicks? Tired of the stunts? Tired of the being promised genuine characters and then tuning in to find of bunch of twenty somethings sitting round in their pants and debating the merits of mayonnaise?

Soon after we got Pepper, another addition to the household came along. A friend, who is also my hairdresser, sent me a picture text one day of a litter of kittens her cat has just had.
