Over the weekend there was news that magazines such as NME are losing money. The internet has changed the way we listen and buy music but also the way we read news. Like many bands having to adapt giving their music away for free instead getting money from promotions, there has been big shift in how magazines such as NME can stay a float.

When I first moved down to Brighton, I was in the group that saw it as derelict remains of a building that should be torn down, but I have really grown to love the pier and think it can be quite beautiful. I love the stories about the conspiracies of the fires for insurance claims and think its uniqueness has made it somewhat an icon for Brighton with a lot more to it than the new pier.
