Potholes in Worthing to be repaired overnight

Night work to repair potholes will cost £20,000.

The scheme in Richmond Road, Worthing, will involve filling the potholes with asphalt at the junction with Crescent Road and Chapel Road. New road marking will also be laid.

Richmond Road will be closed between Heene Road and Chapel Road during the course of the work. Access to properties will be maintained.

The work will be carried out on Thursday, from 7pm to 7am.

And if they wouldn't mind awfully resurfacing the entire stretch of Teville Road, that would be lovely. At the moment its not so much the potholes that are the problem it's the craters and it's getting worrying, Nasa has been spotted snooping along the pavement at these craters vowing a space mission to explore their depths!

Once again the highways department are using up the last few quid left in the coffers. When April arrives, same old story, not enough money to resurface frost damaged roads so just patch em up for now!

In the meantime the taxpayer and motorist keep on paying for services that are never delivered

I see the potholes as a real danger to pedestrians when crossing the road. What really amaze me is health & safety is applied in absurd situations like not rugs allow outside council properties front doors and the like, just to look busy and justify the too many unproductive jobs, etc.
