Just to update you, readers, on the saga of my so-called ‘fine’ for being sold the wrong ticket. I got a charming reply from Southern customer services who tell me it’s an administrative charge, not a fine. They were profusely apologetic for the confusion.

Just as one man's freedom fighter is another man's terrorist, so one person's fine is another's administrative charge. Hey, I never had to pay it, so it’s all pretty academic. But at least now I know. And you do too! Hope you are feeling as enlightened as I.
