Gearing up for the big match

It is Tuesday morning and my thoughts are turning to the crunch match against the Eagles this evening. We will be tuk-tuking to several famous Delhi sights today before settling into the Kotla stadium. I feel very nervous for the boys and hope they can pull off a stunning victory. Getting to the next stage will be a massive boost for the club and will put them bang in the media eye over here.

We arrived safely after a 'routine' flight with Air India... The experience with them was pretty good (except spilling chicken curry down my new Sharks shirt).

Sussex students will be taking part in an ultra-green motoring event at Goodwood this month at the national finals of Greenpower’s electic car racing competition.

All packed and ready to go

The 20/20 Champions League has taken a lot of my thought processes during the past week and both of us are very excited by the prospect of watching the Sussex Sharks take on the mighty New South Wales Blues (complete with Brett Lee) on Sunday afternoon. It's the unknown factor of the opposition and wicket which makes this event interesting for players, commentators and spectators alike.

A buddy and I are planning on swapping the relative tranquil settings of the County Ground for the hot, passionate and crowded KOTLA stadium in Delhi.
