The Mystery Valentines Card

Posted on 12:47pm Saturday 20th February 2010

Last year I got a Valentines card from ‘?’. I was annoyed that they didn’t put their hand up and admit to sending it. I was also a bit perturbed that they knew where I lived (down to post code) and actually spelt my name correctly. Bloody stalkers.

Dumped on Facebook

Posted on 2:34pm Saturday 23rd January 2010

Dating Denial

Posted on 2:05pm Saturday 25th July 2009

Have you ever been on a date with someone, only for them to deny it to your friends? I have.

If you are now cringing, thinking ‘that’s embarrassing’ and ‘why would anyone admit to something like that’, then that is fine. I am cringing ever so slightly too.

May I present to you, the truly happy couple

Posted on 4:19pm Friday 19th June 2009

I have been to a few weddings over the years. Some fill you with dread for their future and some, an overwhelming warmth, knowing that the two people that you have just watched declare the rest of their lives to each other, are more in love than you could have ever imagined.

Posted on 2:39pm Monday 6th April 2009

We have all been single at one stage or another and have uttered the immortal words, ‘When will I meet someone?’ and some kind friend has said they ‘might’ know someone who you ‘might’ like to meet.
