Fingers and toes crossed for Saturday

Posted on 5:38pm Tuesday 28th April 2009

I have always said I did not want this to go to the last game of the season, but it has. If Albion win then they will be playing in League one next season. This has come about after Albion increased their unbeaten run to four games with a important 2-2 draw away at Huddersfield. More than 2,000 fans saw Albion twice come from behind with goals from Andrew and Owusu securing a nail biting finish to the season, Albion closest rivals Carlisle managed a draw against relegated Cheltenham but also had two players sent off.

Today I am proud to be an Albion fan!

Posted on 10:59am Wednesday 22nd April 2009

So one of the most important weeks for the Albion as we were still in the relegation zone, but after a great win away at Colchester on Easter Monday I actually started to believe we could do it.

Thanks for the cheeseburger

Albion embarked on their first trip to the Moo Camp, the home of MK Dons. Not a lot off people agree with how this club came about but to be fair they have a nice ground with the potential to be made bigger padded seats and loads of leg room. The stadium is the same sort of think the Albion will be building and I cannot wait for that day. I doubt we will have padded seats though, maybe heated instead.

What an awful day.

Today we played at home against promotion chasing Tranmere, with old cult hero Bas Savage coming back to show us his skills which won him so many admirers. No moonwalk today from him though as Albion played a 0-0 draw.

Can we just end this season, I cannot take anymore

Posted on 2:07pm Wednesday 18th March 2009

So after a weekend which saw Brighton claim an impressive win next up were Walsall at the Bescott stadium. I've been there before and the place is not great as many grounds in this League are, the club have a small following just 3,549 attending last nights game this was made up of 379 Brighton fans, to be honest isn't bad for a Tuesday night especially in Walsall and looking at our League position its is a good attendance for us.
