We live in the Brunswick Town Conservation area, and feel very lucky to do so. I have always adored the beautiful Regency seafront and am now thrilled to find that I can walk out of my house and be right on top of it. The tall imposing buildings that face the sea and line the sweeping squares are grand and beautiful painted in their uniform mellow yellow (Sandtex Classic Stone Gloss in Hove Cream) and studded with the odd Blue Plaque.

When you live in a city something stops you from visiting its most famous tourist attractions – the amazing sights that can provide a place with its iconic landscape and economy.
So this week I met someone off the internet! Yes a genuine meeting of someone I had never laid eyes on before – our only previous contact had been through a website and email and then text. But as a 36-year old married mother of one it probably isn’t what you are thinking and the blind-date in question was another married mum.
On Tuesday mornings I make my way across town towards the busy Hanover Community Centre for my regular date with the Brighton Breast Feed Drop-In.
This weekend saw us making our way up to Hove Park off the Old Shoreham Road for the re-opening of the Hove Park Railway.
Ah the first real sunny weekend in our new city! Husband was home on Friday after a week away working so we decided to head straight out to make the most of it.
Now I didn’t want my first real post to be baby related but I have to start with this activity because although its only midweek I know its definitely going to be the funniest thing I’ll do all week.
