Where's your coat? Your kidneys will get cold!!

Alright, so its not a massively fashion orientated start to the new year, but I was utterly shocked to see the pictures of the young girls in The Daily Mail this morning (take a look at the url if you dare http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-1242198/Youre-going-dressed-like-Snow-joke-did-.html).

All I want for Christmas.... is a 1980's jumper, a patent leather clutch and some new Mary-Janes please.

I'm feeling festive. We've just had our office party, my advent calendar only has only got ten more doors left to open (in truth it maybe a few less than that due to a chocolate-frenzy on Friday) and i've started wrapping my Christmas presents. So what better time to have a little look at the festive fashion in all the stores at the moment....

BM Models launches in Brighton tonight

Tonight Brighton's newest model agency BM Models glamourously launches itself into the East Sussex fashion market with a VIP evening at TABLE from 7pm. My Jenny Packham dress is freshly back from the dry cleaners and my black peep-toes have just been re-heeled (the shoe-guy next to Waitrose on Western Road is a magician) so I do believe I'm all set to go canapé hunting.

People Tree

I have a bit of a thing for shoes made by a company called United Nude -- particularly their Eamz design (see pic).

Gang Up magazine

Last night I went along to the Gang Up magazine launch party at The Old Music Library opposite the Mash Tun on Church Street - the perfect place to have a 'do' such as this, I might add.

Mud, Sweat and Tears

As summer brings with it a deluge of music festivals, half the fun is getting fully involved with the 'festival fashion'. As much as die-hard festival goers would love to protest this, with a traditional view that music festivals are purely about the bands, the performance and the undoubted love of music, it's undeniable that since Kate Moss stepped through the gates of Glastonbury in her hotpant, waistcoat and welly combo two summers ago, that she turned standing in a muddy field into a fashion event. Jeans and a t-shirt just ain't gonna cut it these days.
