And so it ends.....

This last four weeks has been an interesting journey and tomorrow morning it will all be over.

This morning was our last Fitbitch boot camp session but tomorrow will be the real test when I am weighed and measured.

This week has been as up and down as the others. On Monday, I was shattered, but Tuesday was much better.

I cycled from my flat to the Palace Pier, we jogged along Madeira Drive and then did ten sets of stair sprints from Madeira Drive up to Marine Parade and back down again. Something which I thought would be horrendous but actually was nowhere near as bad as I thought it would be.

We were back on Hove Lawns on Wednesday and it was the first rainy boot camp.

We have been pretty fortunate not to get drenched over the past four weeks and I actually preferred the rain to the strong and cold winds we have had some mornings.

We soon warmed ourselves up after jogging along the pebbled beach.

Today we played snakes and ladders but while one of us rolled the dice, the other two were either skipping, doing squats or star jumps.

Every time you hit a snake there was an new exercise introduced as a forfeit.

It felt a bit strange knowing this morning’s was the last boot camp.

I won’t miss the 5.30am starts one bit but getting up and exercising in the mornings has made me feel so much better in myself and I am going to continue with the running.

Next year I will be 30 and my aim is to run the first Brighton and Hove Marathon to mark the occasion.

It will take a lot of hard work and training but I think I have the determination and motivation to do it.

As for the weigh in tomorrow, I’m not sure what to expect.

I know I’ve lost but I have no idea how much. If it’s half a stone I’ll be happy.

I’ll keep you posted….
