My passion for art

I am an artist and work mostly in oil paint. I enjoy painting landscapes, portraits and some still life. I have two friends who are professional artists and I benefit from their advice and criticism. I paint in between doing my academic subjects at home and put many hours into it. I really like Giacometti and Van Gogh and still have mixed feelings about Dali. I may exhibit some of my work locally this summer.
When I left school in September 2008 my passion for art developed. Painting has become very important to me and I have made many friends because of it. I hope to paint for the rest of my life and enjoy it till my very last day on this planet.
Here are two of my paintings - one is a copy of a Van Gogh self-portrait, and the other is of a pink sunhat.
