This meeting of two highly acclaimed novelists will attempt to unlock the secrets of writing about childhood.
Between them, Tim Winton and Julie Myerson's novels have explored subjects ranging from abusive fathers and runaway children to teenage pregnancy and lost youth.
They will be addressing issues such as how childhood can make or break a life and how a writer can capture the elusive moment between adolescence and adulthood.
Australian writer Winton has twice been nominated for the Booker Prize for The Riders, published in 1995, and Dirt Music in 2002. His latest book Breath came out earlier this month.
Myerson is an expert of the dark and supernatural and her latest novel Out Of Breath is the story of a young girl who encounters a feral colony of runaway children.
