Silent Disco, Udder Place, Brighton, May 23 until May 26

If it wasn't for the huge queue outside The Udder Place - you'd think it was closed.

The venue is completely silent but flashes of disco lights hint there's more to this than meets the eye. It's not until you venture within that the full force of this latest clubbing craze hits you.

You could hear a pin drop on the dance floor, but on stage two DJs are going for it and the venue is packed with people throwing a crazily odd mix of moves.

We're all wearing earphones and a switch on the side allows us to choose between their two distinct music sets. There's a group of guys down the front moshing to Rage Against The Machine while a row of young ladies are doing what looks like Greek dancing.

It gets less silent as the evening progresses and people start drunkenly singing along but it's brilliant fun and something everyone should try at least once!
