COMMUNITY pub The Bevy, in Bevendean, had a visit from Labour's Small Business Minister.
MP Toby Perkins, who has campaigned to protect pubs, joined Labour parliamentary candidate Nancy Platts for a tour of the premises.
The MP also hosted a small business consultation at the Amercian Express Community Stadium, where business figures had the chance to say what help businesses need to thrive.
Entrepreneurs and business owners including Tim Cobb from Cobb PR, Federation of Small Business representatives from across the South East and representatives from the restaurant Food for Friends took part in the roundtable discussion.
