Search giant Google is hosting a free digital masterclass for businesses.

Experts from Google will be at Newhaven on Friday, August 1, to show businesses how to use the internet to turbo-charge growth.

The team will set up a pop-up Juice Bar in Newhaven, co-hosted by MP Norman Baker.

Enterprise owners and aspiring entrepreneurs will get advice and tips on making the most of the Internet and growing their business online, from creating a website to marketing their business online.

The workshop is part of Google’s drive to help small businesses grow using the Internet and to help business owners harness new ‘e-skills.’ Norman Baker, MP for Lewes, said: “This is a fantastic opportunity for helping local businesses to grow, with a successful online presence being vital to this.”

The Juice Bar has been designed to support and advise businesses regardless of their technical expertise – from complete tech novices creating their first website, through to improving an existing website and online marketing.
