New MD at fire safety firm
Leading supplier of fire safety products Fireco has announced Drew Hoggatt as managing director.
The appointment follows former managing director and founder Neil Purssey stepping down to chairman.
Drew was previously managing director of Paxton Access, a leading manufacturer of electronic access control systems, turning it into a market-leading company with 150 employees and a turnover of £17 million.
Fireco was established in 1994 in Brighton with Neil’s invention of Dorgard, a wireless fire door retainer that uses patented acoustic technology to automatically close the door at the sound of a fire alarm, preventing the dangerous spread of smoke and fire.
