A virtual assistant training company is launching as small businesses and start-ups turn to freelancers for flexible and cost-effective growth.

The advent of the digital economy has seen virtual assistants (VA) in demand.

In response the Virtual Assistant Coaching & Training Company (VACT) is rolling out its CPD (continuing professional development) accredited mastery course.

The course is designed to help skilled PAs, secretaries and administrators acquire the business acumen needed to launch their own VA business and covers everything from business strategy, tools and technology, client management and marketing to financial planning and working with associates.

The practical programme is delivered through audio presentations, worksheets, reading materials and sample documents.

Training in Sussex will be delivered by expert Rebecca Newenham (pictured above) who founded successful Get Ahead VA in 2010 after seeing a gap in the market.

She said: “I am delighted to be adding this new stream to the Get Ahead VA business. “Running a team of over 30 VAs myself I know exactly what it takes to become a successful VA.

“I am thrilled to be a part of the VACT Team for Sussex and am looking forward to supporting future Virtual Assistants in their exciting journey to gaining a VACT VA Mastery accredited course.”

The first taster day is in Crawley on November 6 from 9.30am to 1pm.
