An app developer is looking to capitalise on the Bradley Wiggins effect with a mountain high experience.
Aimer Media, based in Brighton, is behind Mountain High, an app featuring more than 50 of the greatest cycle climbs in Europe.
It is available at the App Store for apple products and was released ahead of the Tour of Britain’s arrival in Sussex next weekend.
Adrian Driscoll, co-founder and director of Aimer Media, said: “We have had a terrific time building an app out of the amazing material in the Mountain High books.
“We are delighted to have made an app that is genuinely useful for cyclists attempting these incredible rides, but also one that recreates the experience for armchair cyclists to fully imagine doing so.”
The app integrates with STRAVA for comparing climb times and TripAdvisor for travel planning.
It was adapted from the successful Mountain High book by journalist Daniel Friebe and cycling photographer Pete Goding.
