RETAILERS will learn how to make the most of growing consumer confidence by improving profit margins.
Publicans and hotel owners running an EPOS system will also pick up useful tips at the free event supported by Barclays and Worthing and Adur Chamber of Commerce.
It will provide retailers with advice on optimising efficiency by using online finance and retail systems more effectively.
The event is being run by Sussex chartered accountants Carpenter Box,at Worthing’s Southern Pavilion, on September 18.
Carpenter partner Nathan Keeley said: “Retailers have found high street trading something of an uphill struggle over recent years, so this event will provide some practical guidance of what they can do to save money, improve profit margins and become more competitive.
“This will include looking at specialist EPOS systems and applications such as Vend and Shopify.”
