TRANS activist and artist Fox Fisher and technology rebel Megan Leckie are the latest speakers to be announced for TEDxBrighton 2014.

Fox is co-founder of My Genderation documentary films and he and his film-making partner Lewis are both presenters of Transgender UK on Channel 4.

Megan co-founded BlockBuilders with Joe Palmer, a project which aims to get children involved in the future of their towns.

Megan and Fox join a roster of other speakers, including bestselling crime author Peter James, activist Sam Roddick and Karl Mattingly, founder of slowXchange, an internet platform that crowdsources forecasts on financial performance.

Sam Orams, producer for TEDxBrighton, said: “It’s been a great week for TEDxBrighton and I’m delighted to confirm two fine speakers who will share some fascinating insights in to this year’s theme, Many Hands, which is all about communities.”

The event has upsized to the Brighton Dome Concert Hall with tickets available at www.TEDxBrighton.com.
