A TV comedian and city resident has been announced as MC for a business awards ceremony.
Funnyman Simon Evans, who lives in Hove, will host the 26th Sussex Business Awards next month.
Celebrating business excellence across Sussex, the event is the longest established scheme of its kind in the county and is regarded as the biggest night of the year for business people across the region.
This year, stand-up comedian Evans, star of television shows such as Live at the Apollo and Michael McIntyre’s Comedy Roadshow, will bring his dry wit to the party at The Grand hotel on Wednesday, December 10.
Simon said: “There are so many business success stories from across Sussex.
“I look forward to hearing more about the shortlist and to announcing the winners on the night.”
Tickets for the awards cost £90 each or £850 for a table of ten. This includes champagne reception, three-course meal and two bottles of wine on each table, as well as entertainment, dancing and a few surprises.
