AN ENTIRE office full of Santas clocked in for work to raise money for charity.
A team of staff at Pegasus, a health communications consultancy, in Church Street, Brighton, came dressed as Father Christmas in aid of the Chestnut Tree House hospice as part of Wear A Santa Suit Day.
The event raised £700 and the company broke the charity’s record of the highest number of Santa suits bought by one organisation – with 72 Santas turning up.
The company has raised thousands of pounds during the year for causes including Sport Relief and the British Heart Foundation.
This included eight staff members taking a 40-mile walk, the Sussex Plod, for Action Medical Research and raising £3,000.
Managing director Lisa Bradley said: “We’re committed to making a difference in our community and I’m delighted through our staff’s efforts we have been able to raise more than £8,000 this year.
“We frequently find ways to fundraise for charity – it’s an important part of the culture here and we already have a number of exciting activities planned for 2015.”
