A BIKE store has been named the official cycling partner of Brighton and Hove Albion FC.

Giant Bike Store, in Shoreham, first started working with the club as part of Albion in the Community’s Brighton to Paris Bike Ride in 2014.

As part of the partnership, exclusive deals will be available to supporters at the Giant store and Mr Cycles in Seaford.

Owner Rod Lambert said: “The bike ride last year was a great opportunity to get to know the fans and meet some of the people at the club.

“We take pride in supporting local people to achieve their cycling goals – whether that’s riding across Europe in record-breaking time or just keeping dry on their commute to work.

“Albion in the Community and Brighton and Hove Albion Football Club share our values and inspire people to achieve their best through sport, which is why we felt compelled to continue working with them in 2015.”

The retailer will also be supporting Albion in the Community throughout the year by supporting fundraising activities and running bike maintenance projects for beneficiaries.
