Two business partners have swapped shelf stacking for property lettings.
Nathan Crombie and Wai Lam have taken over a Belvoir Lettings branch based in Hove.
Both were previously retail store managers for Iceland in Crawley but decided to take on the franchise and become landlords themselves.
Mr Crombie, 31, said: “We have had service that has been positive and negative and wanted to use our own personal experience to ensure we deliver the service we would expect to receive.” Mr Crombie has lived locally since he was seven while Mr Lam has been in Brighton his whole life.
Mr Lam, 27, said: “We wanted to work for ourselves and build a business.
“As a landlord myself, I have experienced being left out of the loop and we feel we can get it right.”
Mr Crombie added: “We want to deliver a service that puts our customers at the forefront and ensure that we give the best advice to landlords and tenants.”
