A ROCK legend made an appearance at a music college.
Queen guitar hero Brian May appeared at a question and answer session with students and staff at BIMM Brighton.
He was on a whistle-stop tour of Brighton with Green Parliamentary candidate Caroline Lucas, visiting a number of educational institutions across the region, and stopped in at BIMM to talk about his career.
Adam Bushell, college manager of BIMM Brighton, said: “Brian spent time touring the facilities, chatting with students and staff and participating in a fascinating and insightful Q&A in front of some very lucky BIMM students.”
Principal Vaseema Hamilton added: “His advice echoed BIMM’s key messages: what it takes to succeed and have a lifelong career in the music industry is enduring passion, generosity and absolute self-belief through the hard times and the good, which are an inevitable part of every musician’s career.”
