Sid the Shark gives Shark’s Gold the fin’s up
CRICKET and beer lovers are toasting a new beer brewed exclusively for the Sussex Sharks.
Sharks’ Gold will make its debut on Friday when Sussex welcome Middlesex to The BrightonandHoveJobs.com County Ground in the NatWest T20 Blast.
Sharks’ Gold is a 4% all-English golden pale ale created by Nic Donald, master brewer at the North Laine Brewery in Brighton, with help from Sharks’ stars Steffan Piolet and Chris Liddle.
The beer will be on sale within the County Ground and at the North Laine Pub and The Freemasons in Hove. North Laine Brewery chief executive Gavin George, said: “An exciting team deserve an exciting beer and I think Nic, Stefan and Chris have worked well together to create just that.”
