MOTORISTS will no longer need to speak with members of staff to pay for their petrol at a forecourt if a supermarket giant gets its way.

ASDA is proposing to revamp its petrol station at their supermarket store in Crowhurst Road, Brighton, to install pay at pump facilities at all 12 of its filling positions.

The six pump forecourt, which currently has just four pay at pump positions, will retain the same number of pumps as well as retail kiosk and jet wash facility.

The new forecourt will be of similar size to the existing facility but will be moved further to the west with access routes readjusted.

A decision on the application is expected in July.
