SURPRISED shoppers were treated to impromptu performances from a fashion flashmob.

The dancers entertained scores of people outside various shops across the city to promote new designs and collections from stores including Rock Lobster in George Street, Hove, Eyesite in North Street, Brighton as well as and Pretty Eccentric and Movel Shoes in Bond Street, Brighton.

Organised by stylist and personal shopper Jane Busby, the flashmob lured unsuspecting shoppers into dancing along with the eight fashionable performers.

Jane said: “We had music and sound by Jonno Cox of Fickle Events as well as and hair and make up by Jayne Vanessa Read.

"It went really well, There were so many people stopping to watch and getting involved. There was a really good atmosphere.”

“We started at Rock Lobster at about midday before moving onto Eyesite, Pretty Eccentric and Movel Shoes.

“There was a really good atmosphere thanks to music from Jonno Cox from Juice.”

The three-minute flashmobs were unannounced and drew crowds of up to 200 people during each performance - all in a bid to show off the shops’ latest designs and collections.
