FINE cheese purveyors La Cave à Fromage is celebrating five years at their shop in Hove - fresh after being named one of the best cheese shops in the world.
La Cave's stellar selection of artisan cheese is curated by expert and award-winning food hero David Deaves.
With cheeses from across Sussex as well as further afield, La Cave's sister shop in South Kensington was recently named third best cheese shop in the world by the Daily Telegraph.
To celebrate the anniversary, La Cave served its five most popular cheeses from their time in Hove - Sanite-Maure de Touraine, a goat’s cheese from the Loire, Bath Soft, a Brie-style cheese from Kelston, the Lancashire Bomb, and Stilton in Port.
David said: “We’re so thrilled that the residents of Brighton and Hove are as passionate about cheese as we are.
"It’s been a brilliant five years, and we’re looking forward to many more – sharing our brilliant produce with our loyal customers”.
