THE front of a Costa coffee shop on the seafront has collapsed.
Firefighters were called to the cafe based in the Odeon cinema in West Street, Brighton, shortly before 9.30am today.
A spokesman for East Sussex Fire and Rescue Service said firefighters made the scene safe.
The cafe is next to the Brighton Centre, where new Labour leader Jeremy Corbyn is due to address the Trades Union Congress today.
No one is believed to have been injured.
A spokesman for Costa said the building was operated by Odeon.
She added: "We have ceased trading whilst the health and safety authorities commence their work on the building."
