A YOUNG sports fanatic has opened an injury clinic – with support from her mentor, the former Albion physio Malcolm Stuart.
Lucy Meakin is the proud owner of Recovery Drive in Portslade, a specialist clinic for sports injuries.
Lucy, 27, was joined by previous boss and mentor Malcolm Stuart, who was head physiotherapist for Brighton and Hove Albion for 36 years.
The clinic boasts a newly designed and refurbished interior, free parking for customers and affordable pricing to help therapy treatments become more accessible to the local community.
Lucy is a therapist at Worthing FC, Brighton and Hove Albion's women and girls division teams and also worked as a medic for the London 2012 Olympics.
She said: "It's been a privilege to learn so much from Malcolm, he treats his customers like his own family and that’s not something you can learn. I endeavour to apply the same amount of compassion to each of my customers."
